They comprise of a hinge that folds the remaining tip of the gate using gravity as the gate lowers and vice versa, making a rather satisfying thing to look at. These kind of gates are generally not easy to find, but they're pretty easy to find along lines that have multiple wires following the line, such as SRY's Fraser Valley Subdivision, which feature hydro poles and wires going back to the days of interurban service.
