Seven o'clock this morning, the city of Antsirabe is awake, a remnant of mist persists on the rice fields and the RN34 unfolds towards Betafo in the cool of winter. We drive on a recently renovated asphalt which gives us the feeling for 165 kilometers that it will last the whole journey.
