Cheap Telephoto Lens: Bower 500mm F/8 Review

This is a short review of the Bower 500mm f/8 lens (also applies to the Rokinon, Vivitar and Opteka 500mm f/8 lenses). It's a manual lens with only OK optical quality. But for the price it offers a 500mm focal length that can get you shots that you just couldn't get otherwise. If you really want a long telephoto lens, but can't afford $1000+, this lens offers good value at less than $100. I hope this video helps you decide if one of these lenses could work for you. I can't say definitively that this is the best you can get from the lens, but it's the best I could get in each of these scenarios. Only mild tweaking performed in Lightroom.
