Is expertise now determined merely by rejecting a Hadith before another scholar does? We are not in a "Hadith Rejection Competition" (ஹதீஸ் மறுப்பு போட்டி). Our stance is clear: Hadith must be rejected if it contradicts the fundamental principles of the Quran (அல்குர்ஆனுக்கு முரண்படும் ஹதீஸ்களை மறுக்க வேண்டும்). This is not done out of "intellectual arrogance" (அறிவின் திமிர்) but after maximum effort to find Tawil (விளக்கம்), Jam'u (முரண்பாட்டை நீக்குதல்), or to determine if it's an abrogated law. If all attempts fail, protection of the Quran's pure message is paramount. The Larkat Tree and the Palm (லர்கத் மரம் & பள்ளி): I publicly rejected the Hadith (in Bukhari) stating that the Larkat Tree (லர்கத் மரம்) will side with the Jews at the end of time, and the one about the Lizard (பள்ளி) blowing on the fire of Prophet Ibrahim (AS).
