Marquard, another captivating town in the Free State. Our visit to Marco’s was truly memorable and the rustic charm of the place was delightful. Our stop at the Golf Club was equally enjoyable. Walking through the Clubhouse and strolling along the fairway provided a tranquil experience. We also had the chance to admire the old station, where we were pleased to find the station names still intact. The town itself was tidy, and the locals were genuinely friendly, just like the boards at the entrance to the town proclaim.
