Florida’s freezing temperatures absolutely wreaked havoc on backwater fish in central Florida. The fish kill was far worse than I could have imagined. This is where I learned to catch salt water fish in Florida when I moved here and seeing it like this was difficult to say the least. Understanding the devastation these backwater estuaries experienced is important and documenting the recovery process is also important.
