Samples used: Beats – I have layered the beats from Wisdom by Trigger (Q-Mix) with Live the Life by The Sindecut. I hoped to create a fuller sound with maybe a natural delay effect. Woo hoo vocal – Sampled from Shelter by Circuit. ‘Your Love’ vocal – sampled from Campassion by Gary Taylor. Siren sound you hear in the background – the very last sound you hear in Pheonix by N-Joi. This was the most difficult part of making the song, making these sirens sound correct. I attempted to reverse a sample for the very first time. I hope that it worked. Instruments sounds/VSTs used: Piano: Korg m1 - PianoBrite. The m1 house piano would’ve been the obvious choice but the piano used in Your Love doesn’t sound like the m1 house piano to me, so I chose another. Low bass (I.E. fretless): Repro 5 - TUC Basic Bass 5, with some low end cut off. Higher bass sound (I.E. the ‘quackier’ bass sound): LegacyCell - Acid Saw Bass High drifting sound: Nexus - Split and sequences - Til I come Stab sound: Rave Generator 2 - Brazil (the sample that Liam would’ve used) There are a couple of other sounds you may hear in the background but that pretty much covers it.
