Robby Gordon Motorsports is a former Nascar Cup Series and Xfinity Series raceteam that competed from 2004-2012. A very versatile driver able to successfully compete in several different kinds of racing. This team never really got its legs underneath them, literally changing manufacturers 4 times in as many years. A small team it was difficult to be competitive on a weekly basis. Over the years Gordon has had opportunities to drive for other owners, but it was a more comfortable fit not having to answer to someone above him. Never one to back down from a confrontation, at times Gordon could be a controversial figure. For instance the maylay at the end of the 2007 Montreal Xfinity Series race. Finding their most success on the road courses, Gordon was a regular threat for the victory with several top 5 finishes throughout the team's existence. By 2012, Gordon made the decision to close down his raceteam following a final couple starts. After ending his Nascar operation, Gordon converted his shop into a shop where they make Stadium Super Trucks.
