Modelx 2018 was held at the John Hanson School, Andover, on the first weekend in September. Part 1 has already been posted, so here comes Part 2. Layouts featured are: 00:30 Folly Lane - 00 gauge, 4mm scale - Jason Hannant. Modern image with DCC sound and a working level crossing. 04:39 Stapleforth St Stephens - N gauge, 2mm scale - Mike Hughes. Freelance mainline modern image. 07:51 Llangerisech - 9.42mm gauge, 2mm FS scale - Nigel Ashton. Set In North West Wales around the 1930s but early 1960s and 1970s may be displayed. 12:03 Vale Quarry - 009 gauge, 4mm scale - David Marshall. A narrow gauge 5 wagon shunting puzzle. Also seen at Narrow Gauge South. 15:47 Winterwell-on-the-Fosse - TT gauge, 3mm scale - John Thomas. Fictional small country branch line set in the Cotswolds in the early 1950s. 17:21 Praa Sands - 0 gauge, 7mm scale. 17:49 Oldshaw - EM gauge, 4mm scale - Guy Molyneux & Mike Hale. An imaginary location in the West Country in the mid '70s. 19:25 Leicester Belgrave Road - 00 gauge, 4mm scale - Abingdon & District MRC. A 'what if' layout of this station and freight facilities if they had survived into the 1950s and 1960s. 21:50 Green Pond Mine - H0e & H0f gauge, 3mm scale - Lyn & Jim Owers. A fully automated depiction of a fluorite mine in the Derbyshire Peak District. Also seen at Narrow Gauge South. 23:20 Bodmin General - N gauge, 2mm scale - Salisbury & South Wilts Railway Society. Through working terminus on the line between Bodmin and Wadebridge set in the 1950's.
