hello everyone (1)In this video we are understanding about the torque acting on current carrying loop placed in uniform magnetic field. (2)Here, torque is the product of force and perpendicular distance between the two forces (3)the arms of current carrying loop experience forces due the magnetic effect of electric current. (4) the forces on two arms are of equal magnitude and antiparallel. hence they exert turning effect on the loop. This turning effect is called torque. (5)The amount of turning effect on the loop is different at different instant or at different positions (6) because as the loop rotate the perpendicular distance between two force changes, (7)when the plane of loop is (perpendicular)normal to the magnetic field the perpendicular distance is zero and the torque is minimum or zero (8)when the plane of the loop is parallel to magnetic field, perpendicular distance is maximum and torque is maximum rest all positions torque is between zero and maximum (9)The torque acting on loop is given by T = F x d physics #physicsanimation #viral #viralshorts
