Like | Share | Subscribe DIY Double Sided PCB Vias | Best Method by Invert Logic Joining PCB Vias for DIY pcb is very tricky and time consuming process. In this video I have tried to give you better choice of how to use the rivets also called "eylets" to connect your top and bottom layers. this method is only good for double sided PCB boards. you might also use it for single sided PCB in case you need connectivity on the non copper side area. Many times it is easy and fast to just solder the part of wire on both side of the PCB. but in situations where it is not possible to solder the wire on both sides, especially when you are using IC base and the connectine routes are below the IC base hidden. I have faced this type of situation and there is really no solution other than using this technique. I have used 2.5 mm Long and 0.9mm Dia and 1.3mm Dia rivets in this Video. but you might want to check your PCB thickness and the componants leg dia before ordering them.
