So, on the heels of all the fun we had with our "Shelter in Place" song, we decided to write a second song that takes a look at our situation from a different perspective. For this one, we decided it should be a country song, inspired by outlaw country greats like Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, and Merle Haggard. All the words and music were written during the past few weeks, while we've been staying home together. As with our first song, part of our ambition in writing this was to bring some levity and a positive message to this time when so many of us desperately need a reason to smile. Although we had never written songs or made music videos before our coronavirus quarantine, this has become a fun way that our family has been able to stay positive and make use of this time.
