Those whose bodies were found are buried in nearby cemeteries. The Last Post has been played at the Menin Gate every day since 1928, apart from during the occupation in the Second World War. "They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them."
