CLUB JAMIN: THE ARCHIVE Club Jamin was created with the aim of drawing attention and Introducing the Public to a variety of Artistes. These include: Musicians, Vocalist, Instrumentalist, Performance Poets, Comedians, Talents from all walks of life and culture. Club Jamin does not wish to Infringe on the Copyrights of participant’s music and or material. Club Jamin simply wish to showcase acts and to educate the wider public with regard to the diversity and content of gifted Performers. Papa Lee takes pride in his endeavour to create a platform for aspiring Acts and Artistes. Club Jamin wish to thank all Artist who took part in CJ's Showcases. Not all Bands in the Club Jamin series of videos took actual part in Club Jamin Showcases... Special Respects go out to Abdul TJ and his band Rokoto alongside Nsimba Foguis and Taxi Pata Pata. Both Master muscians are long time friends and old School associates of Papa Lee. We go back to the days of Wala Danga and his Live World Music Nights at The Limpopo Club, Africa Centre, Covent Garden in the 1980s Rokoto, formerly African Connection Band, also Taxi Pata and their highly respected leaders Abdul T.J and Nsimba Foguis are outstanding Song writers, performers in their own right. Video footage of Rokoto filmed at the Boat Race Cambridge and Taxi Pata Pata at The Mosquito coast Leicester, St Ives, Cornwall and Band On The Wall, London were filmed with the aim of creating a profile of the Artistes to share with their Fans. Massive Thanks and due respect goes out to each and every Participant from Club Jamin's former establishment, The Pan African Roadshow. Massive respect to Don Deans for Co'ordinating Rehearsals for No7t3 Children's TV and for his contribution to PAR at Salisbury water Festival, Respect also go out to Francis Johnson, Captain Fish, Jennifer, Patrick, Torera, Don Ferguson, Gideon Rogers, Nick Emery for filming, TVS No 7t3, Thames at 6 Prime time News. Massive thanks to Participants in Drum Presentation with Otis Thompson and his band Sayinoh, Bucki Leo and his Band Faranji Warriors, Bum Musawa and his band The Bushmasters. Massive Respects to Fela Kuti and his Afrika 70 Band. Papa Lee met and shook the hands of his long time Musical messenger In Afro Beat Music at The 100 Club Oxford Street in the late 1980s. Fela was not allowed to perform in Britain so Papa Lee, alongside Wala Danga and other prominent African and World Music exponents created a small greeting party at the 100 Club to show Fela that he was more than welcomed in London. I would like to mention the names of each and everyone who performed at Club Jamin or who took part in activities over the years but I send my Love and Blessings to each and every 'Angel In Music'..
