KDK 6” Wall Ventilating Fan | Exhaust Fan Dinding

Here is the cute little wall exhaust fan from KDK, model 15AAQ1. It has a size of 6 inches, a size you don't normally encounter every day for a wall-mounted exhaust fan. This little guy might be a bit foreign and different from the local KDK exhaust that you usually find because it is imported from China. Well, I initially thought it was imported from Thailand tho. It is located in the guest powder room at my house. Previously I planned to install an 8" Mitsubishi wall ventilating fan, but for a tiny room and limited wall space, it turned out that this little beast was suitable for my needs. Also, the plus point is that it doesn't require a shutter strap to operate, you only need to connect it to the plug and it operates immediately + the shutter opens from the wind power that blows out. This is really important because I have a mirror cabinet under it that will definitely block particular straps or switches. I also added a Smart Plug from ARBIT which I bought for Rp.99,000. This smart plug is really useful for me to control this Exhaust fan via smartphone, portable switch, voice commands, and most importantly, I can schedule when this fan should turn on and off automatically. So in addition to maintaining the air circulation, temperature, and humidity in the house, the exhaust fan doesn't need to be on 24/7 and makes big electricity bills. So far, the combination of the KDK exhaust fan and ARBIT smart plug has really helped me by setting a schedule to turn on the fan every 1 hour for 30 minutes, to be able to remove moisture in the powder room, kitchen, and living room.
