How I tried to fix the BROKEN CD player - 2003 Volvo XC90 Part 44

Since I got the XC90 back the CD player part of the head unit had stopped working and I was getting "DECK ERROR" on the display. I like to have everything working so the first thing I did was to disconnect the battery to see if that would fix it. I ended up tearing the CD player apart. I was able to get the 5 CDs out of if (it is a 6-disc CD changer). I even briefly got it working again but I think the best course of action is to replace the CD player mechanism. This will be a job for another day and another video. #Volvo #XC90 #headunit PLEASE NOTE: I’m just a DIY mechanic. I try to do things the correct way but sometimes I have to manage with what I have.
