Watch me get blown around while cleaning my airplane for the first time: It took a while | Cessna

I spent a couple hours at the airport today. The sun was shining but the wind was a bit mean with the water dripping down my arms and legs. 1967 Cessna 150. I had a short taxi over from my hangar to the EAA hangar that has a water spout. Set up was quick and got the plane sprayed down. Water pressure was lower than I had hopped but it is nice the EAA offers the water at all, so I'm happy. She's a small airplane but the wings seem large when you're washing her! I spend some time scrubbing the belly with the little bits of oil left under there and I was super happy with the end result of the wash. Paint isn't new by any means but the dust came off and most of the paint was smooth as it's been in years. I didn't take her out right after, I was tired from the wind and of course of the hard work of washing her down. I did go up later in the day for a nice sunset flight with my daughter.
