Panasonic GH4 V-Log, 4K, 1080p and 96fps comparison

This is a very short test using the Panasonic Lumix GH4 with some Canon L glass using a Metabones XL adapter. We took some 4K, 1080p and 96fps footage shot in V-Log and put it in a 1080p HD timeline to see how it looks side by side. Footage is already graded with Film Convert and Magic Bullet looks. No LUTS were applied. I did not like the 96fps quality, even in a well lit scenario it just looked like smartphone footage next to 1080p material. 4K downscaled to 1080p shows much more detail than regular HD as expected and shooting in V-Log is tricky, however it shows a little more recovery in the highlights and shadows. An external monitor and some ND filters are mandatory in order to control and shoot V-Log. V-Log is great, but what I like the most about the camera is it's sharpness and 4K internal recording. Maybe some more practice handling V-Log could show more potential.
