From there, I strolled into Uptown Mall at 9th Avenue corner 36th Street, a five-story lifestyle haven opened in 2016, where I marveled at high-end brands like H&M and Daniel Wellington, and dreamed of catching a flick at the Director’s Club Cinemas, revamped in 2024 with a third auditorium and plush La-Z-Boy recliners, plus the country’s first cinema cocktail bar, Boozy Bar.
