Let me tell you about a short story before the main part of the video. For many year I have been living in Kiev suburb, called Vyshgorod, which is located to the north from Kiev, it means it is closer to Chernobyl. It was always interesting for me to visit the exclusion zone and know more about it. First time I saw Chernobyl power plant from air during my lessons in pilots school. And I was really shocked, because in one window of the plane I saw the power plant and in another one I saw my home town. It appeared closer that I had thought before. After getting a private pilot license one of my firs flights was to Chernobyl exclusion zone. We could see the power plant, secret radar DUGA, Pripyat from a distance of several kilometers. We flew over the cooling pond, Chornobyl town. That was very exciting flight. After that, I visited the zone on the ground and was really impressed to it. So it encouraged me to create the company, which could help many other people from all over the world to visit the Chernobyl exclusion zone comfortably and safe. Chernobyl is a unique place on the Earth, fortunately the only one. You will not see anything like this wherever you go. Now, let`s go back to the topic. One-day tour will last from 8 to 12 hours. You will arrive to the meeting point at 7:00, go through registration, our guide will instruct you on how to behave in the exclusion zone and around 8.00 we will go to our first place – Detyatki checkpoint. The trip will take us around an hour and a half. During the time you will get acquainted better with the guide and ask him questions you are interested in. You will go in a comfortable bus with a TV with videos about Chernobyl, free Wi-Fi, air conditioner. So you will feel comfortable during the journey and always be online. When we arrive to the Detyatki checkpoint, you go through the first control. Officials will check your passports, compare the data with information received in advance. After that you will officially be in the Chernobyl exclusion zone. During the tour you will see the most interesting and famous locations like secret radar station DUGA-1, Power plants #4, which blown up, power plants 5 and 6, which were unfinished, The Bridge of Death, Central square of Pripyat, Chernobyl Sightseeing, you will have a good lunch in a canteen for liquidators. Afterwards you will go to Pripyat ghost town, have an opportunity to feed fishes. You will see a lot of interesting places in Pripyat, like the amusement park, the Ferris wheel, the bridge of death, schools, Kindergartens, abandoned stadium, famous place – the swimming pool, Polissya hotel, many apartment buildings, abandoned by their owners more than 30 years ago. You will have an opportunity to immerse yourself into the atmosphere of USSR. And all that within one day. What are the pros of the tour? You will have a big busy day with a lot of impression, which you will remember for the rest of your life. The only cons is that there are some other interesting, but not so popular places, which cannot be seen within one-day tour. It is a program of a two-day tour or a private tour.
