Secret to Surf Fishing the Texas Coast for a Limit of Speckled Trout

It is not every day that you get the Texas surf almost completely flat, so I decided to head down the coast to Port Aransas to attempt to do some Texas surf fishing. The best thing about surf fishing the Texas Coast is that you never know what you are going to catch. With the surf being almost completely flat, I decided to break out the topwater to see the Speckled Trout blowups on the surface. This was by far one of the best days I have ever fishing the Texas surf with me catching my Speckled trout limit. These were just some of the fish that I caught with many more caught off-camera. One of my favorite things about Port Aransas fishing is that there is always fish to be caught and after a long day on the water there are plenty of great restaurants to hit.
