Hey everyone! I finally mustered up the courage to try my first resin table! I was inspired by my freeform geodes to create this irregular accent table with a crushed glass design. I also am learning how to incorporate molding clay into my art. :) I decided to lay the caulk first and define the shape of the table. I then separated the fire glass and crushed glass into ring-like layers before pouring the resin. I ran into some difficulty when attempting to drill the legs into the underside of the table. Unfortunately, one of the screws chipped through the tabletop. Instead I secured the table legs with resin on the underside of the table. With my next table, I would like to measure the depth of the table mold prior to pouring. This will ensure the table is thick enough to prevent chips on the tabletop when drilling the legs.
