How Erik Everhard Became a Male Porn Star

Josh Boone and Erik Everhard discuss Erik's journey to becoming one of the top stars in the porn industry. Erik talks about how he got into the industry, how it was both exciting and overwhelming, and how his perception of the adult film industry would have been different if he had known about it beforehand. In the early days of his career, before the internet, he had to work hard to figure out how to get into porn and get noticed. He would send VHS screeners of his work to different companies, hoping someone would get back to him. Of all the companies he reached out to, only three got back to him. One of those companies hired him, and he worked with them for a long time. Even though getting started in the industry was challenging, Everhard persevered and eventually found success. He notes that at the time, there was a lot of money riding on the porn industry, and companies were only interested in hiring those who could perform under pressure. He compares himself to a widget in an aircraft, saying that his job is to hold everything together.
