How to play Carcassonne - pt 1 of 2 - base set

This video is intended to teach the table top game Carcassonne to someone brand new to the game. Both parts combined total about 27 minutes of video. It doesn't really take that long to teach someone the game! It is the nature of video instruction to include repetition, answer imagined questions, and try to look at various contingencies. The game is very simple, and new players pick it up (and enjoy it) very quickly. This is not a review of the game, nor is it a strategy guide. It is meant to be a video version of the printed instructions. I only cover the original/base/vanilla set here. There are a variety of expansions to the game that are not mentioned--maybe a future upload...?
