Happy Birthday David & Izzy, Miss Red & Miss Violet receive a Package, Gilbert is on a Mission

There are lots and lots of moments in the afternoon video today. I just included them all, so it’s a particularly long one. Firstly a big happy birthday to both our Chihuahuas (David is a Chiweenie) David and Izzy! Today we celebrated with chicken cakes. David was quite party shy today and didn’t want to eat his cake in front of everyone. I think perhaps Boston was the same and so we’ve learnt sometimes eating the cake in the crowd works. Which it did. Much to Jase and Luke’s surprise 😆 Miss Violet and Miss Red received a special care package addressed just to them. Some incredibly snuggly beds pods and some amazingly warm and weather proof jackets. Just perfect for these two. Thank you so so so much Gaylene from Queensland, Australia. In the pool, Gilbert was on a mission like never before. Luke’s hat is the prize and he didn’t stop at anything to get it. Enzo is so very keen on swimming, he’s just a bit reluctant as he learns where the exits are. But boy is he going to be a fish! Miss Red and Miss Violet go in for a dip much to their displeasure, but Miss Violet has become so much more coordinated now. She can keep her head above water. This is a big win for us. Miss Violet always struggled to keep her head above water even with a life jacket on. A beautiful moment when Buddy goes for his swimming lesson and big brother Koda is waiting on the sideline then eagerly checks him all over when he gets out. The best big brother you could have Buddy. Jason arrives at lunchtime after a prenatal appointment with his wife. Baby is due in just over a week. The whole pack is happy to see him all at once asking how’d it go Uncle Jase? It was a really great afternoon.
