I went into this hike not knowing what to expect, but it turned out to be one of my absolute favorite 14ers. The views from the top are incredible. It's the kind of beauty that will make your teary eyed. There is an insane cliff on one half of the summit and the views in all directions are arguably the best in all of Colorado. I'm not kidding. This one is special! It starts out with a fairly extreme road to reach the trailhead. Its about 4 miles up a 4x4 road to the Nellie Creek Trailhead. This road pushed the limits of comfort for me in my stock Jeep Wrangler. In the end, it handled it just fine. It was a beautiful sunny day with very few clouds in the sky. There was hardly any wind.
