Rotation from the 4-ChV (around 60 to 90 degrees) brings you to the 2-ChV to evaluate more walls of the LV and the LA. More rotation (30 degrees from the 2-ChV, from the 4-ChV 120 degrees) will lead to the APLAX or 3-ChV, as it is also sometimes called. The name is due to the similar features you already have seen in the parasternal long axis view (PLAX).
