Day 2 Motorcycle tour of Scotland's North Coast 500 route plus Isle of Skye April 2025 to Lochinver

Day 2 doesn't start as planned. Luckily we were close to a Halfords tyre garage who said they could repair the inner tube but I had to take the back wheel off myself as they weren't insured! The B869 Drumbeg Road was the best riding road of the day. Thurso - Dounreay - Durness - Kylesku - Drumbeg - Lochinver 2 ex-forces bikers travel from the Midlands to Scotland to ride around the NC500 and Skye. It was a 7 day tour. Travel day, 5 days touring and a travel home day. We planned the route and booked the accommodation in January. We planned for cold and wet rides, however every day was dry and warm up to 19 degrees.
