I bought a miniature railroad to add on to the Mill Brook Railroad. The Ossipee Central was built in 1970 at the residence of Dwight Winkley in Ossipee, NH. Over the years, Dwight shared his passion for small railroads with anyone who happened to stop by. He was also very active in railway preservation in New England. After Dwight's death in March, 2023, his family (who live in Alaska) sold off what they didn't want or couldn't care for. My Friend Hank bought the railroad because he wanted two pieces of equipment and so we made a deal where I would buy the rest of the railroad from him, install it at the Mill Brook Railroad, 83 miles away in Windsor, VT and allow him to run on it anytime he wanted. Today, we're moving the last riding car and the caboose to temporary storage at the Shady Pines Railroad. Did you know? The Mill Brook Railroad is funded entirely by YouTube ad revenue and patrons on Patreon! You can help support the Mill Brook Railroad by becoming a patron as well.
