A shocking incident has surfaced from Khandauli, where the City President of the BJP Mahila Morcha, Upma Gupta, along with fellow women workers, allegedly thrashed a local youth accusing him of harassment. The incident was caught on camera and the video has since gone viral on the internet. According to Upma Gupta, the accused man from Ramnagar, Khandauli, was impersonating a BJP leader and had been harassing women workers for several days by sending obscene videos and making disturbing phone calls. BJP Mahila Morcha Vice President Rekha Sharma had also posted about the matter on Facebook. The women activists went to confront the man at his home. His mother and wife reportedly confirmed his inappropriate behavior. When confronted, the man allegedly misbehaved, prompting the women to react with physical assault.
