The roads of Brussels are clogged on Saturday afternoons. Not much fun to drive there. The whole of Rue D'Aerschot (or Aerschotstraat in flemish) cannot be driven through in one part. The lower part of the road is in one direction (leading South), the upper part in the opposite direction (leading North). This is footage of the Southern part of Rue D'Aerschot, followed by a drive through Linnéstraat. You can forget about finding a parking space there. The good news is that the city does not charge for parking spaces on the weekends. So it is highly advisable to take a walk in Brussels' red light district instead of driving through it. Schaerbeek's red light district is directly situated at the gare du Bruxelles-Nord (Northern train station) of Brussels. When you walk on the sidewalk, it's incredible and strange how close the almost naked girls are to you. If there wasn't a glass window in between, you could reach out and touch them. The girls are mostly looking average. The place I entered had two windows and a high ceiling with drapes suspended around two beds - one on either side. There was a shabby sofa area in the back of the building with a bar and a makeshift place to wash (a sink). Prices seemed to start at 25 Euros. Not the most exciting place in the world. If you have higher standards and more money to spend, I fully recommend a visit to Sint Truiden, Belgium, instead. Camera: GoPro Hero 2 (with lens correction in Adobe After Effects)
