Nand2Tetris StudyAlong - Boolean Logic and Implementation

I'll be going over the content in the first several units of week 1 in the nand2tetris course. These sections go over Boolean logic and Boolean algebra, culminating in Boolean functions. The functions are the basis for logic gates, some of which are elementary and some of which are composite, or made up of many elementary or other composite logic gates. These logic gates can be described in a HDL (Hardware Description Language). This HDL text is just that, text. However, it is structured in a way that allows it to be interpreted by a Hardware Simulator. This hardware simulator can test an HDL file either by hand or with a test script.
