I Took Photos Of Shelter Cats To Help Them Get Adopted

I first came across villa Kitty 2 months ago, as I rescued a stray Kitty while in Ubud. He was in a very rough condition, covered in extreme Mange and with a number of other conditions. I left him at the vet for a month to let them help him recover and picked him up once I was back in Bali. Unfortunately, I’m not in Bali full time, hence I could not keep him. He was doing much better but still had a way to go. I started searching for homes for him but it’s really rough trying to re-home cats, let alone adult ones in Bali. On may last Day of my stay, with no other options, I brought him to Villa Kitty, and that’s how I got introduced to it. Villa kitty Is a home for stray cats, founded by Elizabeth in 2009. From the moment I came in, I saw the amount of dedication and love that goes into running the facility. All the staff works around the clock to care for over 300 cats and 30 dogs. Here’s where the problem begins- the facility is only meant to hold between 150-200 cats and at the moment they are up to 303 cats and 30 dogs. Villa Kitty has 29 full-time staff, 3 vets and 11 vet assistants who cover 24-hour shifts 10 cleaners, admin, gardener and general roustabout and our maintenance man. They provide free sterilisation and immunisation to cats who’s owners can’t afford it. They also provide the best dry food for their Cats, to make sure they get the best start in life. Because of all that, their total bill for the month runs into the 26k-29k AUD and since donations are a crucial part to running the facility, I decided to set up this Go Fund Me for them. As mentioned in my Youtube video, all ad revenue I receive from this video will also be donated to Villa Kitty. I understand that not everyone is able to donate, and that’s absolutely fine.
