Poems 3 James Gendron, Kevin Killian and Nicole Trigg organized by Casey O'Neal and James Cordas Saturday, November 21 2015 doors 7pm, readings 8pm SQUARE Squares are just smaller squares -James Gendron Square Square is the little useful app that crucified San Francisco. -Kevin Killian In conjunction with his exhibition "Cold Storage" opening November 20 at City Limits, artist James Cordas has asked Kevin Killian to rewrite a portion of James Gendron's Sexual Boat (Sex Boats)(Octopus Books, 2013). For Poems 3, Gendron and Killian will be reading from their respective "versions" of the work. Nicole Trigg will read recent poems. Kevin Killian has written 20 books, most recently Pink Narcissus Poems (The Song Cave) and Eyewitness (Granary Books). Coming up: Who Killed Teddy Bear?, a new book of stories from Semiotext(e), and Tagged 2, a sequel to Killian‘s earlier collection of color photos of nude poets, artists, musicians, filmmakers, etc."/Boston Review prize, and a 2016 NEA Literature Translation fellowship. He lives in Oakland, CA, where he co-edits O'clock Press.
