Famously bought for £800 by trainer Shark Hanlon, Hewick has taken the family on an incredible journey and after success in the Bet365 Gold Cup, Galway Plate, American Grand National and the King George VI Chase, the 10-year-old struck for his first victory since that Grade 1 triumph in 2023 when landing the odds over hurdles here at Thurles in a outing ahead of next month's £1m Randox Grand National at Aintree.
