Got this stereo off of eBay to power the outdoor speakers since the Bluetooth failed after a month and the replacement speakers of the same brand and type failed after a week Im done with Bluetooth. I will have the XP computer hooked up the stereo via a 3.5mm to RCA cable so I can play Christmas music via tunin 24/7 or during the summer I can listen to jaysSHOUTcast on tunin while doing yard work etc. The stereo was well packed and is it great condition. The seller even found and printed out the manual for the stereo also. The contour switch is used at low volume to boost sounds you wouldn't hear at low volume so you don't have to blast the volume to hear the sounds you wouldn't hear at low volume. You can hook up to 2 pairs of speakers for 4 speakers total. If you are only going to use 1 speaker and not have both a left and right hooked up it says to use a resister on the unused speaker jack to balance the load to prevent damage to the unit. The stereo will be hooked to the outdoor speakers via a 4 conductor outdoor speaker wire so I only need to run 1 wire. The way the bluetooth speakers worked was you had the power head then you had the slave that was connected to the power head via speaker wire. Since I have to pairs of the same speaker I can use the slave speakers as normal speakers and just toss the power heads since they are junk.
