Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Rajasthan’s Bikaner district today, beginning his day with prayers at the historic Karni Mata temple in Deshnok — a site known worldwide for its rat shrine. He then inaugurated the newly redeveloped Deshnok railway station, whose design pays homage to the temple’s unique architecture. The PM also flagged off the new Bikaner-Mumbai Express, boosting rail connectivity between Rajasthan and Maharashtra. In a major infrastructure push, PM Modi laid the foundation stone and dedicated development projects worth over ₹26,000 crore.
