VeEX’s patent-pending Optical Test Tool (OTT) is a smart, remote fiber-testing companion designed for Optical Distribution Networks (ODN). Built for fiber construction, verification, and troubleshooting, the OTT simplifies testing across F1s, F2s, and fiber drops from the final PON splitter cabinet. With the ability to route a test signal to up to 16 individual fiber ports, field technicians can complete multiple tests without being tied to the cabinet. Simply drive to each far-end test point and use a mobile phone to remotely switch between ports—no second technician required and no wasted trips back to the Fiber Distribution Cabinet (FDC). The OTT was developed in close collaboration with Tier-1 service providers, addressing real-world challenges in scaling fiber networks.
