With the signing of this agreement, we are starting a strategic partnership between the Bulgarian state and the German technology company Rheinmetall, a partnership that will change the future of the Bulgarian defense industry. I would like to express my gratitude to Mr. Paperger and his team for their high professionalism, for the consistency and dedication with which we approached this joint project. I would also like to thank the colleagues from the WMZ and, in particular, the Executive Director, Mr. Ivan Getsov, for their efforts and expertise, which made this day possible. I would also like to express my special gratitude to Mr. Borisov for his personal commitment and support in the implementation of this strategic partnership. These are dimensions that are related to a highly qualified workforce, to education, to science, to regional development. These are things that exceed the concrete expectations of this project.
