The opening took place in the presence of the French Ambassador Pierre Lévy, the main representatives of the town of Frýdek-Místek and the village of Sviadnov, representatves of the government agency CzechInvest and representatives of the companies EnergoFuture, Ekol Brno and Dalkia Czech Republic. The construction of the new bio-power station in the premises of Frýdek-Místek`s Heating Plant, Sviadnov by the company Dalkia Czech Republic took an amazingly short time - only 10 months. The Ekol group supplies complete turnkey power units and also provides maintenance and repair of the power units, including turbines even if not designed by Ekol but by other well-known manufacturers. The Ekol group performed a really good job here in Sviadnov. The new environmentally-friendly bio-power station will save Frýdek-Místek Heating Plant over 18,000 tonnes of black coal in a single year. This reduces emissions of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere by over 40,000 tonnes a year. This highly-efficient bio-power station producing electricity and heat, whih was completely designed and supplied as a turnkey project by the Ekol group, will provide the operator a good return on investment.
