Originally uploaded on September 6th, 2021 Figured I'd make it public, because it's the biggest project I have ever tackled and I'm hella proud of it!! ------------------------------- You were never alone. Hoshi plays trust games with his soul, trying to reach out to it- and realizes that it's always been there, waiting for him to embrace it. Coming to his rescue first in the lake, then at the trial one finale battle, and trying to hide him from the strangeness of the mesa. It's always been there. Black soul friends manage to knock a bit of courage into him, and he is determined to use his powers to help in trial two- however, upon succumbing to Daughter's influence, his shadows rush to try and protect him, and "wake him up". His moment of courage standing up to Cheri after he fooled them and put them all in danger allowed him to reach further into his soul, finally unlocking level 5 abilities, which only brought more struggles. Hoshi had a lot of time to reflect and think up in the Star Room, and he decided he was done running away. He'd accepted it already, that he was no green soul, but this time he decided to actually try and master his powers. Inspired by the books on navigation in the observatory, Hoshi takes it upon himself to not be a shooting star anymore, but to be The North Star, just like Murmim's gentle moonlight has guided him along his path, he wants to extend that light to others, in his own kind of glow. But first, he has a lot to learn. He still has himself to find. He has powers to master, he wants to be useful. That's where the maze comes in.
