This technique will also work great with pngs as well. When you’re ready to animate double click your character or image and select the puppet pin tool. Click and add points to lock down your graphic. And when you’re ready to animate a specific piece of your character, hold ctrl on your keyboard and drag a point. This will enable the live recording feature. Then just continue to drag the point you want to animate. And as you can see, your animation will be recorded in real-time and playback based on your animation. So you can do this for the rest of your graphic. This technique is great if you want imperfect movements and want to animate on the fly.
