The European Union recently announced the ban of single use plasitcs by 2021. This sounds great - but is it really an effective measure to fight the global plastic problem? David explains the real problem of the plastic soup in our waters and proposes a solution at the source of the problem. Proving to be a true advocate of his surname, David works as a business developer for the Dutch water company Join the Pipe. His ambition is to give everyone in the world access to clean drinking water and to reduce the amounts of plastics in the ocean at the same time.
