Between Home and Home

This is a Fine Art film that examines place, emotions, identity and perspective. It looks at my old home in England and New home in Sweden and looks at my mental health during my 3 years of study whilst travelling 10 times a year between the two countries. It is a direct journey and visit to some key places where significant thoughts occurred. In Manchester, for the first 2 years, I used to walk from Manchester City Centre to the University of Salford, about 3km, and during that walk I would do a lot of my thinking. In Sweden, I often went on walks, runs and bike rides in the surrounding countryside and occasional visits to the local city center of Lund, the places visited are the points that trigger specific emotions and certain thoughts have occurred to me, these are evidenced in the film, although deliberately only heard during the Manchester sequences.
