This is an excellent point salad game with unique mechanics and beautiful components. Players score points by making the best combinations based on the scoring options of each card; plus some cards allow you to score in your neighbors garden(s). Making this game even more strategic, especially since you are passing cards to your neighbor each turn. The box includes two expansions that make the game even more strategic and unique. Our favorite was the Follies expansion, the cardboard follies are beautiful, although a little tedious to build the first time you play with them. The friends expansion offers a way to earn more points by fulfilling a goal on your friends scoring card. This is great game for your next family game night.
