Klaviertrio Nr. 2 e-moll op. 67 - 2nd Movement: Allegro con Brio Composition: Dmitri Schostakowitsch Arrangement: Hibiki Kojima Artistic director, conductor: Univ.-Prof. Lars Seniuk In fall 2021 the MUK was invited to play the prestigious opening concert of the St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum. To honor Russia's cultural heritage and show the innovative and transdisciplinary approach of the MUK composition students from both the MUK's classical and Jazz departments were, under the artistic leadership of Prof. Lars Seniuk, invited to write arrangements and remiscences of Russian music from Shostakovich and Scriabin to traditional folk music - combining elements from Jazz and improvised music, classical music and contemporary classical music in an eclectic manner. An ensemble consisting of five Jazz students and five classical students has recorded these arrangements in the MUK.jazz recording studio in November 2021.
