The Commodity Futures Trading Commission enforces the Commodity Exchange Act and agency regulations. As with any market, there is the opportunity for fraud and market manipulation. Whistleblowers with knowledge of fraud can report it to the CFTC's Whistleblower Program and might be eligible receive a financial reward between 10-30% of any monetary sanctions collected if the information provided leads to a successful enforcement action of over $1 million.
