Poema sinfónico para banda de música. Lagertha es un personaje de la mitología vikinga, muy conocida por su valentía y por sus grandes dotes de lucha y tácticas de guerra, que junto a Ragnar Lodbrock protagoniza esta pieza. En estos 14 minutos de música podemos encontrar momentos místicos que nos recuerdan al mar, pasajes tensionados para representar la guerra contra Frodo, el Jarl malvado que tiene secuestrado a Lagertha, donde escucharemos un ejercito de esclavos arrastrado por las cadenas mientras los artesanos forjan las mejores espadas para sus guerreros. Una vez ganada la guerra empieza una nueva era para los vikingos, donde encontraremos la historia de amor entre los protagonistas culminando con la ceremonia nupcial, representada mediante una fanfarria que desemboca en la incertidumbre. Finalmente, la ascensión al Valhalla, paraíso de los vikingos, viene representada por las 7 valkirias que recogen el cuerpo inerte de nuestra protagonista para subirla al reino de los cielos. Lagertha is a Viking mythological character, well known for her bravery, high fighting skills and war tactics. Along with Ragnar Lodbrock she stars in this composition. In these 14 minutes of music we can find mystical moments that remind us of the sea, stressed passages to represent the war against Frodo, the evil Jarl that has kidnapped Lagertha, where we will listen to a slave army being dragged by the chains while the artisans forge the best swords for their warriors. Once the battle is won, a new era starts for the Vikings, where we will find the love story between the protagonists ending up in a wedding ceremony, represented through a fanfare that ends up in uncertainty. Finally, the ascension to Valhalla, the Viking’s paradise, comes in represented by 7 valkyries that pick up the dead body of our main character to lift it up to the kingdom of heaven.
