Hello and welcome to The Houndstooth Cardigan! This classic style looks great in black and white, but feel free to try other colours. It's simple to make with three long rectangles, making it perfect for beginners. You can use any yarn and hook; I've based the pattern on aran acrylic yarn (category #4) and a 6mm hook.
