LIVE: 61st Session of the UN Human Rights Council | High-Level Segment – Day 2, afternoon session (24 February 2026) The Human Rights Council continues its 61st regular session in Geneva with Day 2 of the high-level segment on 24 February 2026 at the Palais des Nations. During the high-level segment, the Council hears statements from dignitaries representing more than 120 States, including Heads of State and Government, ministers, and senior officials, addressing pressing human rights issues and global priorities. Meeting in the Assembly Hall of the Palais des Nations, the Council continues its general debate at the highest political level, providing a platform for Member States to outline national perspectives, highlight challenges, and reaffirm commitments to the promotion and protection of human rights.
